Manny Pacquiao : You can’t go wrong with this one. Pacquiao has dominated every single opponent since leaving the 130 pounds division in 2008. Showed nobody so far can handle his speed, and showed he can take a punch and deliver a punch against Cotto last november. His stamina is amazing and the Pacman looks very hard to beat at welterweight. And get this: He’s really a welterweight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr: Probably the best defensive fighter in the game. Super quick with both feet and hands. Setback: Can’t put combinations together nor throw many punches in a single round -We shall see how that works when he meets Shane Mosley. If he gets by Mosley with ease, maybe not having combinations or punch volume doesnt hurt that much.

Shane Mosley: Sugar Shane is also a welterweight, and should be the highest ranked welterweight in a divisional ranking. But right here he’s #3 in the P4P rankings, because he’s a tad slower than both superstars above and his defense looks the leakier of the 3. A victory over Mayweather in May can change everything for Shane. The good thing is Shane has the power to do it. Let’s see.

Bernard Hopkins: Dude is 45 years old, and still fighting well. He dominated his last opponent from bell to bell and looked everybit as good as before. He was ranked high before, must be ranked high now as he looks the same. A fight with Roy Jones can again prove the oldman is very deserving of an elite ranking in the P4P list.

Paul Williams: Even as he moves up in weight Williams remains a phisical freak and a nightmare to most fighters put in front of him. Too tall, arms too long, very good handspeed, reliable chin, freakish stamina. Setback? His defensive skills aswell ring generalship did’nt look outstanding against a speedster like Sergio Martinez. Next for him is Kermit Cintron, let’s see if Williams can take dinamite with his chin.

Timothy Bradley: Looks like the best 140 pounder in the world and is comming of a dominant victory over an outstanding undefeated fighter in Lamont Peterson. Bradley has great handspeed, incredible conditioning, excelent footwork. This guy lacks one-punch KO power and he has been dropped before. A fight with fellow top 140 fighters can further improve his standing in the rankings, because the division is loaded with good boxers and excelent punchers.

Chad Dawson: Probably the best 175 pound fighter in the world. The only problem is his last fights were against old fighters. A fight with young and quick Jean Pascal can help his case and show how good Bad Chad Dawson can be.

Juan Manuel Marquez: Marquez looked slow and old against Floyd Mayweather in his last fight. He’s definitely not molded to fight as a welterweight. Even though his legs are clearly leaving him as he ages, aswell as his reflexes, his formidable combination punching abilities aswell as his heart give him the benefit of the doubt until further notice. I’m giving the old warrior another chance.

Wladimir Klitschko: No one not named Klitschko seems able to touch him at HW. His right hand is probably the most powerfull im boxing. The big guy stays here until anyone at HW can make him flinch.

Vitali Klitschko: Just like his younger brother, no one touches him. The reason he’s bellow is because he doesnt posses 1-punch KO power like his brother – although it must be said he’s superior on punching variety and has a better chin.
